You must be registered as a Home Care Aide with the DSS CA (or sign up prior to hire). You must pass a DOJ/FBI Criminal Background check prior to employment. You must possess a valid California Driver’s License with no serious violations and have a registered and insured vehicle. You must also provide a negative TB test, and 2 personal references.
Competitive Pay

The job description outlines your primary responsibilities as caregiver. Objective:
To provide professional care giving services and to help clients maintain their independence and to assist them with household and family support services.
Reports to:
Care Resources Director (CRD)
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Companionship & conversation
- Light Housekeeping
- Household management
- Errands and transportation (using client or caregiver vehicle)
- Apparel selection (e.g., laying out clothes)
- Meal planning and preparation
- Laundry and linen changing
- Medication reminders
- Prepare sleeping area at night
Other Requirements:
- Pass recurring 30-day skills assessment and client review with CRD
- Document activities in the ClearCareGO © app Care Log or Telephony daily (if applicable)
- Record daily hours worked and daily services performed through ClearCareGO © app/Telephony/Tasks Reports (if applicable); review with client and submit daily
- Report any significant client changes to the office immediately
- Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in our Employee Handbook and Training Manual
Qualifications:
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level
- Ability to drive or use public transportation to get to work

In overnight situations:
- Assist client to and from bed
- Assist client throughout the night
